A group of Newport Shropshire Cycling Club members had their breath taken away by not only some hard climbs but also some spectacular views as they took part in the Wild Wales Challenge.
Newport CC members Sean Lacey, Matt Blythe, Aidan Dodd, Pete France and Steve Anslow (Teddy Smerckx) rode up and down over 80 miles of hills in the principality in the 29th edition of the the event.
The organisers, Liverpool CTC, encourage riders to take their time and enjoy the view. To preserve the character of the event entries are limited to 600 participants.
Sean Lacey describe the event as ‘Brutiful’.
Well done chaps!
