Summer Solstice Ride | 21-22 June at 12 Midnight

A Ride To Meet The Sun…

Meet at Darcy’s Restaurant in Ironbridge at 12 midnight, for pre-ride hot or cold beverages, to see us off on a bit of an adventure!

Jim Morrison is organising this ‘Night 2 Day’ ride to coincide with the Summer Solstice, so we will be riding before and after sunrise (hopefully being able to actually see it) – a great start to the longest day of the year!

The outline plan is to have two coffee stops and to make an accent of the Wrekin at some point. After sunrise, the intention is to go cheer on Sean Morgan from Fred Williams Cycles, who is riding a 24 hour marathon for the Prostate Cancer charity and will be close to completing his challenge.

Feel free to join us. Do though bear in mind that it’s going to be a long night, so make sure you bring a warm coat or something, as it could get pretty cold at that time of the morning, especially if we need to stop for anything or anyone!

The ride is open to ALL. There is no set route, though MTB is recommended as there will be tracks, trails and the Wrekin to contend with – we will just find our way little by little. Any questions, leave a message below or via Facebook.
